Print & Serial Collections
The Book and Serial Collection focuses on theology, liturgy and religious education with emphasis on areas such as scriptural studies, spirituality, faith formation and development, parish ministry, pastoral studies, personal development and life Issues, family and parenting, social justice, education, teaching, leadership and management.
There are also specialised collections including Teachers’ and Catechists’ resources, Aboriginal issues, audio books, fiction and inspirational literature and rare and old books. In addition, there is a well sourced reference collection.

- EBSCOHost – Religion and Philosophy Collection
This resource is an essential tool for researchers and students of theology and philosophical studies, providing a comprehensive full-text source of content as it pertains to the topics related to and discussed in disciplines of religion and philosophy. Content includes hundreds of peer-reviewed magazines and journals with coverage spanning over 100 years. Over thirty years of globally relevant education research as indexed by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). This database encompasses all aspects of learning from early childhood through to tertiary, adult learning, assessment, distance learning, international education, Indigenous education and literacy. The broad subject coverage of this database includes Aboriginal and indigenous studies, arts, history, law, literary studies, media, political science and sociology. The Humanities & Social Sciences Collection provides access to full content from a range of journals, monographs and books, conference proceedings, research papers and reference materials. Covers both topical and historical issues within Indigenous studies. The multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary framework provides access to emergent and ground-breaking research within the global community and offers scope for critical international engagement and debate. With material from Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, North America and the Pacific, this Collection is a platform for Indigenous worldviews. Proquest Ebook Central is a web-based ebook lending platfom which is capable of delivering Ebook Corporation’s rapidly expanding catalogue of ebooks to academic and research libraries. Results from this database will be incorporated into the search results screen.
Ebooks
The electronic book collection covers topics ranging from religion to education. Library members will have seamless access to the library’s Proquest eBooks collection and be able to browse a selection of ebooks to download or read online.
Audiovisual Collection
This is comprised of more than 4,000 resources available for schools, parishes and individuals. This collection includes audio books, videos, DVDs, CDs, music bags, photo language and picture card sets as well as e-resources.
DVD Collection
This covers both fiction and non fiction, with age levels ranging from Pre-Primary to adult. Fiction resources include feature films, animated movies and popular series.
Non fiction resources include scriptural studies, reception of the sacraments, moral and values, faith formation and development, church and Christian history, comparative religions and biographies.
In addition, there are resources addressing social justice, political, economic and environmental issues such as poverty, hunger, pollution, racism, reconciliation, stolen generation, refugees, treatment of women, war, terrorism and third world issues.
Music Collection
This is divided into categories and includes chants, children, classical, instrumental, liturgical music/seasons, praise and worship, meditative, wedding and youth. Within the collection we have music bags comprising a CD and music book. We also have individual CDs.
